Last sunsetby eliniasComment: The scenery is beautiful, but I think that there is too much to look at. IMO, I would have maybe tried a different angle. Distracting elements: the glare on the water, the tree branch at the top of the photo. I like your idea of including the people on the bench, but maybe try shooting from a different point. |

A Lone Guard Cellby lucienawComment: Actually 4 guard cells...tee hee! Nice microscopic view of a couple of stomates. Would work well in a biology textbook, unfortunately many of the DPC voters will not appreciate this type of photo. Nevertheless, I like it, and look forward to more like it. (btw, did you do the onion cells photo?) |

And the tight shot with the way you cropped some of his head out works so well, too. IMO, this photo would be much better without "Thomas", as this should really be all about the little boy! |
