The gate is rolling...by jlsohioComment by Dave Gordon: This may be a great shot, but at this size, who can see it? Some critics say use the full 640 pixels on every shot. You may not want to make the shot so big that it won't fit your monitor screen - but it should be at least full screen size. |

The gate is rolling...by jlsohioComment by Tim: this photo is way too small to give a high vote. you need to make sure that your photo is 640 pixels on the longest (not 275) side so that voters can see as much detail as possible. |

The gate is rolling...by jlsohioComment by ReallyColorBlind: You've probably already here this, but the picture is too small. Learn to use the full size available. As for the shot itself, it's very hard to give a good critique because of the size. I like the close-up with the nearby rider in the background. |

The gate is rolling...by jlsohioComment by mk: Please read this tutorial on properly sizing your images for challenge. It's difficult to judge such a small image. //dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26
This one looks quite busy and yet, I'm not sure I see much depiction of action. |
