The 39 Steps (John Buchan)by RobroComment by TimS: I only count 37! Doesn't meet the challenge! =)
Nice shot, only problem is the towers are a little crooked, but since the curved stairs cover most of the line, it isn't that distracting. I like it! |

The 39 Steps (John Buchan)by RobroComment by Trinch: I confess. I counted them. It's true. LOL. Nice photo, however, the shadow on the left tank is a bit distracting. Maybe taking the photo when the sun was on the back side of the tanks could have worked better., |

Gannet at Muriwaiby RobroComment by paolobnr: Be careful: the first impression when I look at this photo is that it i stilted: the horizon is...horizontal actually, but there is a line on the top right of the image that gives the optical impression that the whole photo is tilted. You may try to correct it. |

Gannet at Muriwaiby RobroComment by dcano: Great shot!! I think the solid background made this work. I dont think I would have liked it as much if any land were showing. Makes me think the poor thing is way out at sea looking for a sailboak mast to lite on.

Gannet at Muriwaiby RobroComment by Trinch: Nice placement of the gannet within the shot. Overall, the image is a put too soft. A sharper head and a sharper horizon would have added to the photo. |
