The selective dof is interesting and brings out the textures of the iron very well. Not so sure about the composition. My eye is not easily lead around the image, instead it is carried out of the frame in numerous places. The in focus section is almost exactly in the middle of the frame and does not have much support from the other elements in the shot. I think the subject has potential, just needed a different angle or approach.

I understand what you are trying to convey but the lighting is a little flat, there doesnt appear to be any particular focus, and it seems very busy with regards to my eyes not finding anything to particularly look at.

Interesting idea. I like the solid black background, it certainly helps with the decapitated feeling. Not a fan of the coloring, it makes it look like a bad horror shot.

Love the texture! Has great sharpness and clarity and I like the mix of light and shadow. The tones are good too. Only nit pick would be to crop it a little lower as the higher up it goes the more OOF it becomes.

I had not seen this before. I like it. It's very odd but that is what gives it its appeal. I like the muted colors and similar tones the most, though!

Very fun expression. It looks a little contrasty and maybe a tad oversharpened or else you just used a fairly high ISO. Having the detail in the skin and fur is good, but it just feels a little harsh or sharp, if you know what I mean. The brightness is good.

Good Morning Mr. Squirrel

Excellent sharpness and the colors of the fall foliage really compliments the squirrel's fur well. Only suggestion would be to put the squirrel on the 'third' and not have it so central in the image.

A very graceful and majestic image. I love the dark color of the water and how it fades back into black. It looks like you've blown the details in some of your highlights, but that looks more like a contrast issue than exposure. The orange beak adds a nice splash of color. The stillness of the water and the reflection add to the gracefulness of the image. Very nice.
