Eclectic work! Looks like you spent a lot of time with this, well done, and probably my fave of the challenge.

Comment by Pangurban:
I'm afraid I gave this a low score as I'd have much preferred the main subject to be in focus.

Comment by MaryO:
The pose is OK, but the focus is on the leaves instead of the dog's eyes. I infinitely prefer in a portrait to have sharp eyes so I can connect with the subject.

Ground was in clearer focus than yeller in this photo

Comment by LN13:
I feel like the focus point is the leaves on the ground, rather than yeller

Comment by Beetle:
It would help a LOT if the focus was on his/her eyes instead of on the collar.

Comment by spiritualspatula:
The crop is rather awkward, as it is not a particularly photogenic perspective as it makes your dog look much longer than it is. Try to get lower, so you are looking your dog face to face, it will create a much better perspective. Also, looks like there was a bit of difficulty obtaining focus, as your camera has focused on the leaves/scene behind the dog. Work on your composition/camera operation and this could be improved a lot.
This isn't a perfect example, but it shows how much livelier your dog can seem if you get lower to shoot the photo.
