Distance to subject, angle of view, and lighting are effective in conveying a sense of thinking about the past. Out of focus areas also contribute, but need some work in their implementation, imo, as they look too spotty. What the heck is that electrical cord doing dang smack in the middle of your picture???!!! Ruins the affect for me.

Too much dragon and along with the wide angle, distorts to become a caricature. Does your model think this is flattering? Maybe I'm wrong.

Background needs some saturation, imo, and I wish the bird had more detail evident in it's feathers. However, still a good photo nonetheless and would be good used in a field guide or nature magazine for identification.

This looks too contrived to me. The boy appears clean, well noursished and well taken care of, and his expression affected. I hope I'm right.

It really is a good photo, though, with an interesting composition and dragonaizer effect works for me. I'm ambivalent about her being pushed against the extreme side of the frame. I'd be curious if the bride found this picture complementary.
