An appealing image that contributes well to the free challenge

A very accomplished and unique landscape. I do n’t know if you’ve enhanced the colours but the blues and reds are certainly very vibrant and thanks to your self-sacrifice of an early rise the lighting has given it all a convincing 3D effect. The rocky outcrop adds interest to what would otherwise be a fairly standard and less interesting scene. You have good DOF and detail throughout. I might have been tempted to favour a little more foreground for some of the blue sky to raise the outcrop a little further from its present position.

I’m sorry you didn’t receive any comments during the challenge, I hope this makes up for it, thanks for your entry.

This is a fine, fine image. The blend of sharpness and structure combined with the dynamically blurry elements makes for a most compelling juxtaposition. I'm particularly fond of the guy bottom right and how he draws the eye's attention to the wall and how the wall sends the eye into the far distance to dance across the mezzanine before hurtling back along the line of the information boards.

Your 4/10 exposure time is perfect - I'm surprised; I'd have thought it would need a little longer to get this effect; those folks must be walking with a purpose; perhaps it's 8:03 and they have a ticket for the train departing from track 103.

I'm pleased this did well. A very nicely crafted image.
