I'm left wondering what the subject is here - is it the street-light or the light-trails - because having them at either end of the image leaves me looking for something interesting in the middle, and not finding anything.

Although it's a perfectly good image, it doesn't convey any feeling of long-exposure - maybe if you could have left the cigarette burning longer so you had a longer area of glowing ash?

A nice idea, but you could have done with a longer exposure - maybe if you had waited until evening so the sky wouldn't have been too bright?
