I think the lipstick on the fork is a nice touch. It added a bit of interest and helped tell the story. I think the angle makes the photo a little sterile but for all I know that was the best angle for you to also get the plate. I won't second guessyou :)

I love this. Simple and powerful. I've pulled it up to look at several times. Pretty good composition. The drops of water made me a little thirsty. I'm sorry I don't have more constructive comments but anything I say would be a nit-pick that I'd rather not search for. I can't wait to photography my gardens.

I like this old house. My eyes are drawn to the "loft" window, but the choice to go so dark kept me at a distance (if that even makes sense) instead of drawing me in. There is the potential for a great picture here.

Interesting and nice angle. Good composition. I'm new at this so some of my comments may make you roll your eyes. Humor the n00b. :) Your white balance seems a little off. Last week Mousie taught me about using Sharpen. I think Sharpen would help here too. I'm not sure if your distortion is intentional or not. It works for this photo. If it isn't intentional, changing your focal length will help it in cases (like the challenge) when you can't use software to correct it. Overall - a very pleasing photo. I enjoyed it.
