this shot has great potential, in my opinion it should have scored higher, but that's my take on how i would redo it:

first i would leave the whole door in the composition, or zoom out if possible. second i think it's a tad oversharpened.
third i am not sure if you used a polarizer for this shot or not, if you did not i would recomend using one to try to get the relefection out of the window. and finally i would def. recomend tone mapping for this shot.

nope i don't get it, 5.7 on this shot!!!!!

i really try to think sometimes why the shot did not score well, but in the case of this shot, i can't even point my finger on it...

great job on the reflections!!!

i actually still have to try this, it keeps me intrigued on how to control the lighting.

in your shot thought the problem was not the reflection, but the oversaturation of the colors, i am not sure if you did that to hide the reflections. but in my opinion should have def. scored higher.

great concept, but in my opinion the execution was what took down your score.

i know it's hard to do the "ghosting" effect with long exposure, but perhaps the image could have been a bit sharper on the model.

on another note, more contrast would have added to the dramatic effect of the shot.

great idea nonetheless

hahaha, i remember this shot from the why ? challenge, it made me laugh:)

good interpretation on the subject, but as usual , often out of the box shots get hammered.

as for the picture itself, i think the only thing that would have been better is more light on the left side of the model's face.

on another note, great portfolio!

i really like this shot,

i am imagining you took this shot at high iso which explain the noise, i'm not sure if you tried to neat image it , this would really help with the noise.
which in turn will help you to higher the contrast on the fish, basically probably pushing your score higher, from what i've seen int he comments.

great job nonetheless!

very nice shot, great landscape, but here is my take on why this did not score higher:

the colors a bit over saturated, in way i can't seem to focus on one spot because the blue color is overwhelming and taking away from the scenary.

my recomendation is this , try tone mapping since you have this shot in raw, generate couple of jpegs at different exposure and load them in Adobe , there is a thread somewhere on how to do that. or of course you can give phtomatix a shot. i am pretty sure this might give it a boost to the 6's.
