Volleypugby PaulComment: Love this. Love this a lot. By far the best image in the challenge. |

Bundle of Joyby colorcarnivalComment: This is my kind of portrait. Especially at this age. There is an interesting look into who he will be and who he once was. You can see the kid but also the adult. And I also like seeing our kids grow up in the challenges. Lovely image. If this were mine this would be on a canvas hanging on my wall before the challenge was over. |

My Morning Teaby TjankMjasterComment: Dude! Very nice work here. I was just thumb peeking on a couple of images and this as one of them. Nice light and clean backdrop. You will have to show me how you did it. Kids get picked up around ten. Can I come over for something stronger than tea? Really nice work, Paul. |

Sunscreenby giantmikeComment: My wife would probably be ticked at this image and its relation to smoke. If its from a power plant then this is more likely steam. I wish you had more of the stacks in the image. Maybe there were too many distractions below. ETA - so I showed it to my wife and she wasn't familiar with the type of stack but she did correct me in that it wouldn't be steam but water vapor. ;) water vapor, steam or smoke, did t impact my vote. |

Smoke of Pandoraby shahulComment: Looks like maybe you oversharpened your smoke. i think edits that allow the smoke to stay soft and smooth work better. These type of shots just dont do it for me. Needs to be stellar to stand out, especially with so many to compare to. |

Poisonousby DamonComment: I dont know what it is about shots of small statues. They dont do a whole lot for me personally. This shot probably would have benefitted from less smoke. The detailed blue smoke strands are nice but all the diffuse gray smoke that fills the rest of your black space is too much. |

closing timeby mrbig65Comment: I love a good grainy, blurry shot but I like those to have at least some sort of defintion to it. Or at least enough definition so that I can create my own story even if I dont grasp the story trying to be told. Here all I am getting is blur and grain. |

Flamenco!by mefnjComment: The color is the grab here. Sitting here looking at it though my attention just fades away. I am trying to make more out of it, trying to interpret more of the title into the image, and it just seems like too much work. I guess its just time to vote and move on to the next similar image. |

Whiffsby LawtonComment: Meh. Too much smoke. I think part of the particular fascination with these comes when you have a delicate thin flow of smoke that seems to have some direction. This is just a bit too much to seem "clean". That and when there are so many of these type images posted you get a bunch more to compare to. |
