ortakoy camiiby sevilduvarciComment: The shades of green here are just beautiful and serene. The focus is great, and I love how the smooth clouds and waves contrast with the sharp features of the buildings. Good work.

Reddish Egret Chickby ArpeggioAngelComment: Wow, what a beautiful and interesting little guy you've found here. I really like that deep purple red color you've captured, and think this has a nice composition to it. I do think that it is a bit oversharpened, but nonetheless a good photo.
Keep up the good work!

Framed Linesby TheStickComment: It's surprising to me that this photograph only recieved one comment for this challenge. While the focus is a bit soft, the composition and set up are pretty decent. I like the vibrancy and rich tones of the green and think they work well with the warm tones of the wood. To make this have a higher score, a bit more sharpening should do the trick.
Keep shooting!

Juvenile Gatorby ArpeggioAngelComment: This is very neat. I love that deep teal color of the water, and the details her are crisp and interesting. I also think he is well placed in the frame. The rocks in the front are a bit too bright, but don't detract very much at all from the shot overall. You've captured a great expression, and this photo is worthy of it's two favorites.
Good work!

Desolation outtakeby Jaded_HousewifeComment: I rather like the juxtaposition with the everyday, normal, "plain" buildings to the out of this world vivid sky. It doesn't come across as too faked, but kind of extraordinary, like somewhere, sometime, the sky might just get bored of itself and explode orange all over the place.
For desolation, this doesn't really work for me, but as a stand alone image, I think it's pretty neat. The focus and angle are both good, and overall it is well thought out and composed. Good work.

Watching the World Go Byby L1Comment: This reminds me of my grandfather, who has passed away. I'm going to add it to my favorites so I can come back and look at it when I think of him. |
