A nice photo, but I do not think it quite fits the challenge. Using photography as your occupation/what you do in a photography challenge is kinda weird. Everyone submitting photos in this challenge could submit any picture and say photography otherwise. jgillard6

There is quite a bit of noise in the lights. Try using the program neatimage to fix this up. Also, a tighter cropping would improve the picture I think! jgillard5

This photo could of defnintly been much improved over what I submitted. Check out //www.pbase.com/jgillard/dpchallengemotion
to see what I mean. The reason I left this image not cropped/etc was because it was too noisy. Once I learned about neatimage (after the challenge had begun) I could of submitted a much better photo. Oh well. I was busy studying for my finals anyways and did not have much time to put into the challenge this week ;)

The mouse, I think that is what it is, is really out of focus and distracting to the picture. There is nothing in the picture that is in focus, so it is hard to figure out where you want the viewer to look. jgillard3

This photo is a little darker than I would like to see, and for some reson on he right half of the image there seems to be a slightly brighter circular area. Since this was taken in a darker room, there is some excess noise tha could be removed by using a program such as neatimage. jgillard4

Cracked

Yes, this is a picture of BLUE silly putty. I had just gotten my camera (first one ever) and wanted to at least enter something in the current contest! I threw this shot together without a tripod and without proper lighting. The shot was created by placing a blue towel over top of the power bar I had sitting on my dresser and adding the silly putty to the scene. Not bad for a first attempt, but I will have better things to offer soon I hope! ;)
