What I think is that you should avoid as much perspective as possible when you are trying a bang on shot like this. Or it should be about the same central axis. Also I think space on top is a little too much..takes the focus away from the butterfly.

If others comment on this as well, consider checking your monitor calibration. I've been burnt on one of my submissions that I edited on an uncalibrated system!

Do you do that on purpose to make it look older? The text isn't very good. Should use a nicer font and then add in the City and State. Great pic however!
