You captured this old building beautifully. The architecture is wonderful and this building makes a great subject.
The composition is good. In many cases having the subject centered looks too static, but I think it works for this one.
Including people in this image gives life to it.
The exposure is good, with no over or under-exposed spots, and shows clearly visible details.
Your focus is fine, not any blurry spots.
This doesn't jump out as a "Time" picture, but I can see how you fit it in. Especially with the satellite dishes, it shows an old building with modern technology, which indicates time past and present.
Overall this is a nice image, not particularly exciting.
It seems to me that you can handle your camera quite well, but more consideration for the challenge subject would help you score better.
I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Regards,

Grayce

COMPOSITION
I think the composition of this could have been made much more interesting by possibly placing it on a solid background, and getting at a very low angle and taking the picture so that the "controls" as well as the main part of the blender was showing. Or, if you had gotten on one end of the "controls" or the other. Being straight on kinda makes it static and flat.

TECHNIQUE
The black and white works well, and though some commented about the darkness, it looks fine on my monitor. The focus is good.

OVERALL EFFECT
I think the lack of perspective or context makes this shot less interesting than it could be. It is a good idea, just needs a little more tweaking to be truly effective, I believe.

Best to you in the future challenges.

Well taken photo but a different angle showing the subject would help. The people in the foreground are a distraction. Perhaps view of just the upper two portico's?

Nice image. It's very clear and focused. I also like the bright colors that also make the image stand out. Good job.

The satalite diskes spoil the skyline, It may have been possible to hide them with a different angle, and maybe get rid of the lamppost too. Seems alittle 3washed out to me, polirising filter ( is possible ) may help here.

I like the idea and I like that you made it b & w but it is a little too dark. It is also isn't straight but I think the problem is it's skewed so just rotating wouldn't help much.

Heh, nice blender. I wish mine had all these features. I like the black and white on this. I'm not sure I like the framing. I would have cut off a tiny bit more from the left hand side to make it more symmetrical :)

Challenge met, focus nice and sharp, lighting is okay, but you've got a sharpie on the top left side of the metal with your light.
