Nicely done! I had a similar idea (while searching through the house for possible chrome candidates...) but finally decided on other idea (mainly as I was out of pasta... :) )

I like the ideea and it looks carefully composed; you should work on the lighting part, that camera flash just ruins the image. studio lights are a bit complicated but far a small and still composition like that the light of a desk lamp and a tripod for the camera would work; or you could have used some soft natural light from a window. good luck
