I love the action in this photo! There's a lot going on visually, and I like the metallic feel as well as the shadows under the drops. The composition is nice, too, very active and unusual. I'm more and more impressed, the more I look at this! The ONLY thing I can think of to suggest is perhaps to add some color in the background, where it's white. If that's possible. Nice work!

There is a great sense of energy in this shot from the globules and their shadows. The colours are an interesting combination, too.

Not much I can offere here in the way of suggestions. I really like this shot. If I HAD to pick something to pick on, I would mention that the blue spot on his front leg looks like an error and is a bit distracting.
However, It really only shows up when I increase the brightness on my moniter, so it's not a big deal at all.
Great DOF. I am one of those that really likes it. I think that what is important, is in focus, and the rest is just background. Speaking of background, the plain white works well. no distracting elements there.
Great colors. I think that if there were more light, creating more detail in his face, that that might distract from the color itself. Creating too much detail to look at, and we may overlook that which is important for the challenge. So I think that you made a wise decision there. With both the lighting and DOF.
I like the angle and framing/cropping as well. Really 'in your face' kind of shot. Sometimes that doesn't work...here however, it works very well.
Congrats on the 13th. This is excellent.

Wonderful colours! The quality of light, both on the object and on the background, is wonderful - on the background it gives the effect of a painting, on the object it really brings out the character of the glass. Love the green within the inner tube. Composition also works well for me. Top right corner a little too dark in my opinion.

both good and bad use of DOF in my opinion.... works well on the background.... but detracts from the image with the loss of focus in the foreground... i would perhaps have rotated the bottle to get the entire thing in focus.... of course that may not have been possible.... overall I like it... just a little distracting that bit in the foreground.... good luck Todd.

Just Beautiful! ! The Noise that must be going through your ears! I wish I were with you. . . The color you\'ve captured of that Engine 9861 is Awsome! The Union Pacific Flag, the Yellow, The Red Bonnet, what is there, 1,2,3, 4 Engines?and the detail in the wood Trestle. . . and the weeds growing up out from under it, and the bluish sky. What a great job! Then I\'ve just noticed the hoses hanging down and the coupler. . . Wow, and the headlamps. . . I can\'t stop looking! ! ! Look at the white railings, The Red Numbering on the side of the Engine The focus is great, depth of field super, nice and crisp, - will you please email me and tell me where this was taken? I'm and N-scale Train buff This is a fantastic photograph Congratulations!!!

Being able to see the arm, above the elbow, spoils the impact of the image for me.

This is one of my favorites. Very simple, and yet, effective. Good choice to go b&w, I like the lighting except maybe that small dark spot in the foreground in the water.
