el hombre in a woman's handsby fannybComment: Gives new meaning to look but don't touch. I like the concept. Had the writing on the blade and the blade itself been more focused I would have rated this photo higher. |

Music and Lightby yyyapComment: Lot of guitar pictures here, but I think this one is the best. It is slightly out of focus, but makes good use of the reflections to convey the curves in the body. |

AZ livingby delComment: Blurred focus gives a nice effect, background is a bit distracting |

Pasta Plateby bruster54Comment: I would have included the entire plate too, cropping could be better |

BananAppealby tlalondeComment: The bananas are too cropped, showing more of them would show the curves better. I like that the fruit isn't perfect (exterier marks and all). Added with the black and white, it gives the photo more depth. |

Play Ballby CoreyComment: Is that a ......curve ball? = ) I think that would have been a cooler title. Great macro shot, seems to be a little less light in the upper left corner. Is that just the coloration of the ball? It would have been nice if it was more even. |

There Is No Spoonby che_foxComment: I was going to do this shot too, but I couldn't bend the spoon with my mind....I guess I'm not the one = ( I actually think the coffee swirls could stand alone on this one, the are more interesting than the spoon |

Pure Bassby MaverickComment: Thanks to all for their comments and votes. The sub was lit by a small flashlight and the shot was taken with the camera on a mini-tripod. Reuben, I tried your suggestion before I took this shot, it came out OK, but I didn't think people would have a clue as to what the picture was. As for the cropping, I tried this shot a lot of times and could never get the lighting and focus just right. This is the "cream of the crop" of my shots. I would have also liked a smaller aperture to get the left side in focus, but my camera's minimum is 4.0 -Ben |
