Youngest Buskerby LadyLinComment by justine: I don't know what a Busker is.....but........this is done very well. It's a beautiful setting. Where? Boston? Europe? Just love the feeling of her, the post, the water......maybe a bit too dark but easily fixed. Nice work. Justine |

Youngest Buskerby LadyLinComment by Marsha: One of my favorites thus far. Only wish her violin case wasn't cropped at the edge. Still, a wonder shot. |

Old Dawgsby LadyLinComment by LadyLin: Thank you very much for your comments. In choosing this subject, I was influenced by the fact I lived in a tiny northern fishing village for 17 years... no cars, no roads. Our heat was by necessity, wood and I carried 'dogs' in the bottom of my skiff back and forth across the harbour. Any stray logs floating or on the shore became fair game, and provided our warmth. The dogs were our technology... rather than cutting the logs up on a beach and packing the rounds home, I'd simply hammer a dog into the log, tie it off on the beach, and any other scavenger would know that log was already spoken for. We'd then go back on the high tide and tow our logs home I'd like to add that I've just begun to take photos and enter them. Any comments and suggestions are gratefully accepted as I am just learning, and have very little technical knowledge. My pictures are sent in exactly as they come from the camera... don't know how to retouch yet!!! LOL ! |
