im matrixedby rogerspaulComment by Amiee: Very nice image, but i'm not sure if I understand how this ties in with the matrix. I really like the lighting and the layout of the image. |

im matrixedby rogerspaulComment by shadow: i personally like this shot a lot, it gives a warm feeling about it. a contrast from the other "techy" shots in this challenge. However, take note of the slight over exposure on the lady's shadow. a 6 |

Spring Colours Are Second To Noneby rogerspaulComment by sherryk471: Focus seems alittle off here but certainly within the limits. Good composition and colors. I don't think the wide border helps here but it's only a border. This would also work for the next challenge if redone somewhat.=6 |

Spring Colours Are Second To Noneby rogerspaulComment by frisca: this would have been lovely for complementary colours too. The border is too heavy and distracts from your subject quite a bit, perhaps try something thinner? As well, there seems to be more grass in focus than the petals themselves, which makes the whole shot seem very busy, exacerbated by the heavy shadows. Perhaps shooting with a more shallow DOF and keeping the focus on the flowers and shooting later in the day when the sun is lower in the sky and creating softer shadows? |
