I like the presentation of floating in black space and the solid rock feel of the platform. Lots of dark shadows that are eating up edge bits. That may bother some but not me. The mysterious feel is way kool. The zap of red zings up the photo nicely. The mirrors are a great idea. Interesting portrayal of subject.

Reminds me of morning eyelids prior to coffee invigoration. The easy on the eyes tones jive well. I like your choice of tree lines and shadows to break up the rectangular nature of the shot. The dead leaves at the bottom add a pleasant softening touch to the chunky nature of the bricks. The bits of gray shingles and eaves shadow cap off the photo nicely. A fairly worthy shot deeming additional positive remarks.

Cool boxed in world concept. I like it. My sentiments exactly of crushed in urban crunch. The zing of red adds vibrant life ands nicely contrasts to the torment of vertical and horizontal elements. The brutal ominous shadows surely add to the claustrophobic feel. Excellent foto!

This is among my favorite three images for this week. Thank you for daring to venture into candid informal territory. Absolutely wonderful personable family mood. A priceless moment that to me blows away any studio shot here. This image has real value and staying power to me. It brings out the longings of childhood and rekindles family memories. A very powerful emotional image that should strike a heart chord in everyone. Even if the photo was dismal technically I still would rate it high because of its extraordinary moment of casual humanity. But the foto is very competent by all other photographic measures, too. Focus, exposure, choice of B&W, tonal rendition, composition, you name it...near perfection in a nutshell. I really really love the feel of roundness and contours in the skin tones and their contrast to the water ripples and tub. You should be very pleased with this photoghaph no matter what the rating. No master photographer could do better. Hope many others rave madly about the foto too. Good luck

Fantastic foto!!! Very original concept which deserves extra points in its own right. The unusual pose, contrast of hairy legs with the rounded shading of arms, the crossed wrists, wrinkled cloth backdrop are particularly outstanding visual elements. B&W was undoubtably the wisest choice. Beautiful rendered tones and minute detail. Gets a 9 vote from me... and certainly worthy of at least that from many others. Excellent work!!!

Very funny! Good simple graphic shot. Concept executed well. The tire texture and very bright pavement dominate the image. Overcast or shadow conditions would yield less harsh tones and allow more visual voice to the sign perhaps ( just a thought ). Nice shot.

Good sense of humour. As a suggestion perhaps a bit more sea in your shot to emphasize the sea dog quality. The lagre area of sky tones are nice and tend to draw the attention to the background instead of the sign and sea. I guess you need a 20 ft ladder to work the vantage point here. Not a bad shot

Spooky stuff. A bit sinister for my taste. But what the hey, it's a different style with it's own speaks. Like a bittersweet licorice kiss. Grows on you after a while. Unusual and inspiring.

Great urban comment. The shopping cart in the puddle steals the show. I also like the brick wall texture and the freezer rust. Box shapes throughout the image pull the whole show together. Well done.

The sweep of the horizontal lines go well with the panoramic format. The greenery softens the edge of modern age. If the viewpoint was a little lower perhaps the white portions of the sign would not blend in with the curb but contrast against the plants instead ( a small suggestion). What do you think of placing the sign a bit more off center? Otherwise a good solid shot.
