An easy on the eyes image thanks to the warm wood tones. The metal strings contrast nicely to the dark hollow. Although this is obviously a study in detail I would like to see a strummin' ghost pinky or two for human/ theme interest. But that would plunge your score to "3" here instead of the big 7.2 you are likely to nab. I like the different assymetrical composition of curves versus lines & rectangles. Simply beautiful.

A wonderful moment well captured. The blue colors harmonize with the drowsy elf. The expression of shadowed eye and pouty lips is priceless. I would like to see this in B&W too. Although it is beyond your control I find that the white cloth snout is visually overwhelming to some degree. I don't know if a different camera position would change that or if it was possible. The important thing is that you have a very well expressed human experience. Good work.

OK everyone agrees that all cat pictures automatically score 10. This is a pleasant informal homey moment. With cuddly family appeal. Technically it is a good image in terms of DOF, exposure, interesting composition, etc. The rug texture gives it a cozy feel. As a minor point I would like to see all of the cat's tail. As it sort of looks like a pussy lollipop from this angle. Perhaps it is worth considering something like a human portrait. It's a choice between the whole anchilada, the midriff and up or a mugshot in general. The chioce of just a few colors helps to tie your picture together though. An honorable effort capturing a lovely moment.

A very expressive photo. The candid quality is terrific. Especially the comparable delight between both mammals. The rich blacks and brilliant whites bring terrific zest to the image. It feels so savoir faire and elegant. The knobs and plant growing out of his neck are minor annoyances someone else can quibble over. This would make a really powerful B&W photo too because without the skin, tie and right hand background bit colours the viewer's attention would focus even more on the expressions. This is a beautiful moment captured by a keen sensitive eye.

You must be commended for the excellent DOF. I love the subtle simple bluesy tones of this image. The chrome is delicious. The sky compliments your image well. The composition is dramatic and obviously a matter of individual taste. My choice for included car parts would be slightly different than yours. What attracts me to this image specifically is the repetition of circles. Thus I would have cropped even closer to include the headlights and hood ornament ( perhaps getting a little lower so that the hood ornament is in the sky and not clashing with the windshield ). The reflections, handles tight against image edge, wheel hub and passenger side windows would be excluded. But that is just me. The grass in shadow and reflections add lots of impact to your image. This is a good photo that packs a solid punch.

A well cropped vertical format. Glad you attempted the casual candid shot rather than the planned studio setup. Informality has loads of character. The leash, chain, curled position, snow bits and lonesome look in the pooch's face bring out the message in your photo. The reflection is a nice touch. The lighting is unavoidably harsh in these circumstances. Which means a sacrifice in shadow or highlight detail. If it was my personal choice I would crop or get in closer and just include the chain and dog head. Even underexpose the shadows so you get a photo of just the chain, the brown jowl area and the eye highlght. Sort of a prisoner photo. Another idea would be to use fill flash to lighten the shadows so that the contrast between the shadows and highlights would be less. I would also give a little more space between the reflecting glass pane and the dog's head by moving slightly to the right. If you have B&W capabilities that would be another attractive alternative as the message is more about the dog's posture and expression than the colour of the leash, tags or doorstep. These are just opinions and possibilities you might want to consider. Not necessarily better just different. Overall this is a well expressed image with strong emotive content. Keep up the street photography. It is very challenging but worth it as you have demonstrated

Cats make purr-fect pictures no matter what, I agree. The viewpoint choice is unusual. Creative points for daring to venture into a different perspective. Beautiful golden eyes, whiskers and goatee. I applaude your effort to capture a family pet in a candid manner as opposed to a stiff planned studio type setup. Informal shots bring out the character and nature of the subject. I take hundreds of shots of our kittens before I get that magical image. If I could suggest a few minor points to consider. Perhaps simplify your background to one tone contrasting with the color of your subject. Eg. play with your cat near a suitable colored blanket. Allow reasonable space around your subject. Enough room so the subject does not look cramped and can visually breathe ( unless you desire to make the opposite popint ). White is hard to expose for, especially with flash as it flares to zero detail easily. A bright side window with sheers or a cotton sheet for diffusing light gives gentle ample lighting with nice natural tones. Keep up the good work.

You have a great concept. The lighting, color, focus and composition are all good technically speaking. Personally I would alter a few minor things. A female hand to match the femininity of the flower and to avoid the hairy arm. Rather sexist I do admit. The fake blood is a little dark, thick and copious. A few lighter color drops to indicate a pricked pinky would be OK. However, this is a very creative foto which deserves substantial merit on that effort alone. You have a great imagination. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant unusual color combination. The texture of the leaves is very attractive. I find the highlights a tad glarey ( small nitpick). Lots of bite on the edge of all blossum bits, great. Nice high key border that accents the image well. Good job.

Great DOF for this shot. Nice sharply focused whiskers and fur. The alluring green eye and orangish nose are lovely accents to the earth tones. Personal wee quibble would be a desire to have a touch more space around the nose tip. Purr-fect exposure. Great photo.
