Going for high pass, you have managed to loose all the details in her lips. more contrast on the lips would have been a showstopping shot

Interesting close-up macro and I think black and white is a good choice as it allows the eye look at the shapes in the photo. I think I would have used a deeper depth of field so that the ring was also in focus. I would like to see the spoon moved alittle to the right so that you could see the ring behind since that seems from the title of the photo to be the point of interest you are trying to convey, Just my opinion, hope it is helpful.
