I really like this - it seems very zen to me. Looking at it makes me feel peaceful inside.

I would've cropped the flowers on the right and I would've gotten rid of the light object behind the candle in the left window. Both are distracting in this rather nice composition. 5

While I enjoy the mystery of the candles in the window and not knowing what that wheel thing is in the center, this seems a tiny bit too complicated for a zen image (to me - hope you don't mind the comment). The parts I react to most are the partial flower on the right, the horse shoe near the flowers, remote control or telephone, and a feeling of imbalance from the empty space around the bottom compared to no empty space at the top. What I like is: the candles (already mentioned), the colors (BEAUTIFUL colors of blue on the window frame!!), and the clarity. It's a very nice effort and I really hope my comments are helpful. If not, please accept my apologies. Wait: Another thing I like is the curtain in the left - it adds to the mystery and life :-)

Farewell 2005 (2005 written in the mountain)

The street scene reflected in the water is stunning, but the 2005 and the trail of lights is so small that it doesn't really add to the frame, and instead it distracts from the shot. I would have concentrated on the pretty street scene and composed out the 2005.

I would have skipped the mention of 2005 in lights on the mountain and focused on the beautiful reflection of the lighted village on the water. Overall this is a serene and pretty shot.

Beautiful colors and reflections. It's a shame the 2005 written in the mountain is really too small to add to the photo. Great job though!
