IMO, cropping could have been much better (realize I did not see original), but losing the chin and one ear seems a bit too much, border does not add anything, again, I know LOL, IMO

This is excellent. Nice use of negative space and I like those tiny spots of white to the left of the tiger's face. Great detailing with the whiskers. Beautiful capture.

The plight of the tiger is a sad one indeed. It is such a tragedy that we may see the extinction of these magnificent animals in the wild in our lifetimes. A shame there are a couple of odd white spots on this shot, but as this is basic editing I understand there wasn't anything you do about them. Giving you a 9 for great subject matter, clarity and good composition.
