I felt compelled to tell you why you will probably get roughed up a bit on your score in this challenge. The heron is indeed a little blurry and there is a little noise on the image. Looking past that, I really like the selection of horizontal lines and compositionally, this photo is pretty good. Nice work. I hope it does better than I am guessing.

I like what you tried to accomplish here. I think the lighting is just a little harsh for really making this work. I'm sure you had the right idea in your head. I think changing the angle of the light source would have helped and possibly softening the light a little bit and maybe even toning it down. Nice effort. You were on the right track. Keep up the practice. You will nail it soon!

Wow, that's a hell of a splash. Nice capture. What makes this photo for me is the guy in the blue jacket. It really gives some perspective as to the magnitude of the waves! My only criticism is that the foreground rocks appear a little over done with some sort of shadow/highlight tool or HDR effect. Other than that, great work!
