My home town :D. This is a very nice duotone (?) in fact; the entire tonal range is used quite effectively. I would definately have at least tried to clone out that white "thing" in the foreground, whatever it is, as it distracts a LOT from the rest of the image.

He... I already have this as a favorite. Compared to the one in your portfolio I find this version a tad oversharpened to my taste. Of course that doesn't distract from the overall greatness of the image.

Striking use of selective desaturation. Unlike any other image I've seen so far in this challenge.

There's a lot to like in this photo; composition, colors, shadows... I also personally like the editing you've done here, though I suspect it's not going to be found 'mainstream' enough for most voters.

Perspective is really what makes this image work. Nice sharpness on the eyes as well.

Personally I would have liked to see more castle and less sky (a different crop/angle). It's a nice picture nonetheless though.

The colors seem on the verge of being oversaturated. It gives the picture a dramatic although not very realistic look. Just my opinion of course.

It's obvious you have a very keen "macro eye". Love the dof and bokeh on this one.

The shadows are very dark, the highlights bright... conventionally speaking I'd say this is too contrasty, but it does have a strong impact here.

There's a very distinctive "feel" to this shot. I'm not sure what it is (gaussian blur?) but I do like it.
