I like the lighting and off-center composition. I'm guessing there is an intentional reference to physical contrast between the lithe model and the muscular man in the framed print; or perhaps I'm reading too much into it? Regardless, I think the artwork fails to contribute enough to merit its presence in the image. IMHO, the model alone makes for a very nice image.

Critique Club Review:

Color is very good here. I really like the yellow of the boats. Brightness, hue, and focus are done well.

However, the brightness of the boats, and the foreground boat jutting into the picture, do not appear restful to my eye. I would have trouble sleeping amongst those boats and bright colors.

The foreground boat almost seems to threaten the sleeping woman.

Personally, I would like to see the foreground boat out of the way, and the woman in the other boat.
