Good use of grain it reminds me of an old magazine ad from the 70s. So of course it fits the challenge well.
Your lighting seems to harsh causing much of the flowers and background to be overly exposed. A litle less backlight might have solved all the lighting issues.
As for your composition I like it has an air of freshness about it in this challenge.

Date...by edmengComment by macrothing: 6 - Odd, but good idea. Criticism; more definition if possible on the ducks, or at least one, as seems to be in the rock fore right. Different 'composition' perhaps, with more space at the top. Not sure on the frame. |

Date...by edmengComment by olddj: female mallard appears very slightly oof, also tends to blend into background rock, but not too much you can do about that LOL |
