Day 18 - Deep Blue Iby nikolaosComment: Great capture of the blues here, and good use of the lens to capture a wonderful abstract made up primarily of color. |

Day 17 - Spiderby nikolaosComment: Great capture, I love the shades and tones, and the way the spider is almost (but just almost) easy to overlook. |

Hickey Wedding 3by TCGuruComment: She looks happy, and that's an incredibly important part of this ("this" being "the day" "the ceremony" "the photograph" . . . everything!). To me that says she was happy, and that she was comfortable with you as a photographer. Having that happen and capturing is is important, and something you can't make up for later.
I'll add to what's already been written that her face is turned to your right, but her eyes are turned to your left. For me, eyes looking in the direction opposite the direction the face is looking look shifty eyed. She looks like something distracted her, not in a good candid way, but just in a distracted way. I don't do portraits very well, so I can only react, but I think this is part of the reason photographers often have you turn your body or your head or both when they're shooting, and have you look in that same direction. She doesn't need to be looking at the camera, but for me if she's turned one way and looking another it looks a bit uneasy. |

Pay As We Goby muur88Comment: It's funny how people can be hidden in plain view, just there, lying on the sidewalk. Step over them, walk past, don't look at them, they aren't really there. Delightful capture, good use of light and shadow to actually highlight your Waldo (avoiding the temptation to underplay the point by hiding them in the shadows). The juxtaposition with a mobile phone store is perfect. Well done. 8. |

No Title v3by Man_Called_HorseComment: Interesting shot, with beautiful blues in the sky, and good job meeting the challenge. I might have tried to stand the little lighthouse up right with a slight rotation counter-clockwise, and the leaning throws me off a bit. |

Hogs Back Waterfallsby ShamanComment: Great waterfall, and good capture of the sky (which to me is better than the waterfall by far). Good job meeting the challenge. |

Alone By Myself, The Trees Bend To Caress Meby KenComment: Great title, and the image here works well for the challenge, the bend starting on the right lower corner and returning to the right at the top, just out of view. Well captured. |

Above Timberlineby vtruanComment: Love the perspective here, looking down on the walker heading for the cliffs. I can almost hear it telling a story, of a person who just needs some time along, looking over the lake, to think over love lost or love passed. Nice capture. |
