Bare trees are tough to sharpen, but the detail in the rest is probably worth the trade-off. I really like the detail in the barn, which is there but not overly bright. Gives a nice feel to the whole shot for me.

Great shot, really nicely done. I had a shot for this something "else" too, but didn't realize it was a minimal editing challenge, and I shot it in RAW. Oh well, I may run it in the free study this month ('cause I like to take a beating). I'm glad we got to see this one now, though!

Nice capture, and I like the composition. You should be able to get rid of the blue tinge in the snow and the dog's chest with a white balance adjustment in post processing.

I like this shot; bridges are great, such wonderful things (especially suspension bridges). I wouldn't mind more bridge shots, so take 'em when you can get 'em!

This is a great image, wonderfully done, from composition and shooting to processing. I have no idea what you did (I just haven't done those things, so don't know how), but it looks like I need to learn if I can accomplish anything even close to this!

Really neat shot. Are there cows in the field, or sheep or other beasties? I might have cropped a bit out of the top, as the birds aren't quite in but aren't quite out (but I also might have left them depending on how the crop looked).

The sky and clouds are great on this; it's also nicely divided vertically with features and color (hope you know what I mean; I can't find a better way to say it). I actually feel a little off kilter because of the tilt of the boat, but I think that's an entirely appropriate reaction to have.

Really nice shot, Jane; it's nice to live somewhere where there's interesting stuff to shoot, and to see the interesting stuff you've got. I wonder what this would look like if you saturated it a bit more; the grass and the sky might be a bit more vibrant, but it might change the feel too much, too (it looks kind of desolate, and I look the look for the shot).
