Nearest Relativeby Mr_PantsComment: Great "portrait" indeed! Bumping it up on another look to 10. It's a great study on bringing out its human face. |

Sunsetby cmeierComment: Very nice! Love the overall soft glow and the tones. You can actually create 2 different moods with this. One as it is which works well and an alternative one that's more focused on the girl by cropping out the sun. :) |

Centre of Attentionby cmeierComment: Hi Chris, this idea has great potential and love the candid-ness of it! The skin tones are beautiful. My suggestion if ever it was possible of course:
- enlarge it so she does take a slightly bigger center spot
- that will crop out the foreground and the sides a little
- and maybe adjust the levels just to reduce the brightness a wee bit
Still like it as you've captured the beauty of her happiness. |

The Dark Carnivalby VisualOddityComment: I think I know what you're getting at but it looks over-processes all the same. Would actually like to see the original and what you intended. |

in the beginning.......by dewedComment: The misty background does begin to look a little interesting except that a lot of details in the foreground is lost. The harsh glare from the sky doesn't help because that dominates the viewer's eye. Another observation which has nothing to do with the photo quality and how I score - don't really get what this image is trying to convey in relation to the title. |

Clarityby JennAppleComment: A bigger image might have been better, zooming in on the bulb. As is, the bulb is almost lost overshadowed to a large degree by the blurred lights. |

Lilly Pad Impressionsby hokieComment: This could have been a really pretty picture with the composition you've chosen and sparkling light reflected on the pads. Unfortunately, it's OOF everywhere. |

Autumn Sunsetby RiderGalComment: Composition: would have positioned the 2 girls a little off-center maybe to the right.
Lighting: doesn't seem even. I could be wrong but the flash on the figures look a bit too artificial (see the harsh shadows) compared to the nice natural light of the sky. |

Costa Rica Kissesby Arnoldo_costa ricaComment: Nice composition potential with the interesting colours. Unfortunately, it's lost on overall sharpness. DoF needs some work here between the foreground pink, middle green/turqoise and the background yellow. |
