Peek-a-Booby AnachroniteComment by crabappl3: Very tight shot, but I had a hard time 'seeing' the turtle without some sort of point of reference. Maybe this shot is to close for the viewer to appreciate the color and texture of him. |

I liked this photo and what it was going for. I did think it was a bit dark and not as crisp as it could have been. But overall I liked it, and I thank you for sharing it. Bloodcup: Drink of Strength and Spirtby AnachroniteComment by myqyl: I took off some points for it being a tad dark and a tad out of focus, but I thought it was a great shot. While I'm not a hunter, I understand the true nature of the food chain and our place in it, as well as a deer's place. My first thought when I saw this was "Yum!" But that's just me :) |

I've heard of the "drink the blood of your first kill tradition" but I don't know if this is what you were going for. The picture is too dark. Not a terribly big deer either.
