The colors are complementary. The pattern of the image has some appeal. Because you've made a "product shot" I'd like to see more care taken to the detail--perhaps freezing them face down so the air bubbles didn't fall behind the logo? Appears to be a bit jaggy on the white lines and highlights as well....

What a wonderfully expressive pet candid.

I like the sky -- it's the side of the garage that I feel is fairly uninteresting. I agree with jellyoooo, a portrait framing would have suited the image better. He leading lines of the garage would work much better lined up with the longest dimension instead of against it. Cropping the sides in a bit would have accomplished this.

The exposure of this shot is tricky, but as pointed out below, could have been better. Bringing the brightness of the face up and darkening the sky just a bit helps to balance the tones a bit better. (If you have Photoshop, the Shadow/Highlight command does this well). Care has to be taken while darkening the sky however -- the backlighting created a slight halo around the dogs head that is made more noticable the darker the sky gets.

All in all, an excellent image -- one of those pet shots that makes we wish I lived in a house that allowed me to have one. :( That makes it a winning image in my book.

Ok, this has my heart. I wish the doggy's face weren't in shadow, but this is the cutest thing. The texture of the painted wood adds to the shot. I'd up the sat of cyan to make the sky more vivid. But seeing how my doggy Tank is half chow and I give all animal shots an extra point, this gets a 7. Well, I looked at it again and realized there is no way his face couldn't be in shadow, as you are looking up at him and unless you are shining a light in his face, it's gonna be in shadow. I have thought about this and how much I like it. Bumping it up to 9 for the composition, clarity and just darn cute shot!!!

LOL - the expression wins points, but other then that it's a slightly boring picture.... clouds would have added to it... and maybe less of the wall and more sky.
