the streak of line going across the frame is a little distracting IMO as it draws some unwanted attention. I don't see much grain in the image though.

returning for comments. This is a nicely lighted studio shot, I like this as a good and clean portrait, but this doesn't looks like its being helped with grain and doesn't really fit into the description where grain should be an integral part of the image

very snapshot kind of photo, if the guy on left is your subject, he's not seen at all with such dark shadows, color seems over saturated and horizon tilted
