In flightby philupComment: I just can't get over the composition of this photo and the depth of the lake is obvious, which adds a greater skill to get the composure off-land. Great! |

Bathroom Nightlightby philupComment: Very original and great use of a candle. The concept alone is very innovative. I bet it was very difficult to get the brightness of the bulb while simultaneously keeping the rest of the area dark. |

Shadow Reflectionby ajmason66Comment: A good idea, different than all the others in this contest. Composure and lighting are great and you get extra point for being original. 9 |

Old Bootsby philupComment: The overall tone looks great (the brigtness balance).
The composition could be a bit higher looking more down on the shoes.
The depth of field is good because the blades up front are out of focus and the fence in the back is out too.
Maybe just a slight flash fill on the boot that is standing, but otherwise it's a great photo, even worth hanging in a room somewhere. |

Work Bootsby alison05Comment: This would be a perfect picture in a long hallway in a house decorated with antiques. The lighting is great, composure is almost perfect (slight miss on the facing left toe), and the color tone is real nice, not as harsh as black and white. |

Ninety Proof Milkby philupComment: Depth of field is good.
A bit too much emphasis on the shot glass instead of the cat, maybe recompose a bit to the left.
A flash to fill the subtle shadows in the cat would be an improvement.
The focus is top notch too, especially the cat wiskers (where are always in motion). |
