Wonderfully funny shot. Ribbon well earned. But where is the child's respect for his elders? The quarter should have gone to a penny for the remarks. Tsk, tsk. When will kids learn?!

Everyone has congratulated your fine piece, appropriately. It is fabulous and belongs on a wildlife cover. But I would have loved to see the shot of the wildebeasts waiting for the hippo to cross. That might have been amusing. Like traffic in LA.

Really like the piece, texture coloring adjustments all work together. I think the only thing I'd have done is lose the sofa or blur it to obscurity, as though it might have been a light source. 9.0 on a 10 scale.

Not sure what she has in her hand.

The title got me, as a pipe smoker and a sipper of fine whiskey. Bravo, nice moody shot.

I strongly disagree with anyone who didn't rate this 8 or higher. It's like looking at a painting. I enjoy the motion of the subjects. Very appealing.

First, compositionally, it's really classic. So 'Do I like it?' Yeah, big time. I don't mind the color of the yellow on her skin, it compliments the eye shadow.

OK, I'm being picky here, but that's kinda what DP is about, right? First, is the photographer is in the picture? Check the catchlight in the eyes, especially the right, it's oblong, and the head(?) of the photog is in the middle of the light. Unconventional, but not appealing.

The loose hairs bothers me as it should have been caught before the shot was taken. This was, after all, a posed shot. So take the extra time and see with the eye instead of the 'heart'. She's beautiful, but also distracting. Don't let her be distracting. OK, so the hair is there, Photoshop it out. Just a little more time to do it.

Pipae seems to have a line going thru the corner of her right eye just by the shadow. Don't know what that's about, but try Photoshoping it out, too.

My two cents. Good shot, really good.

To me art must evoke an emotional response. Large or small, happy or sad. I get such a response from Fairyland. Nice shot, good burn/vinyetting. Very framable. Cute? A little formidable maybe, almost a witch's hovel. I almost expect the hut to 'breathe'.
