Trouble on the Shoot

Thanks to everyone who voted. I was at the lake on the University of Florida Campus with my son and there was an alligator hanging out. We snapped this goofy picture and I turned it in for the challenge. Kind of a portrait gone wrong. I did nothing to it as I am new to taking pictures and basically do it for fun. I realized the alligator was out of focus and the ground behind my son was ugly....but we had fun and it turned out to be a cute photo. Thanks again. I had fun entering my first challenge.

It is indeed a little out of focus. No I didnt mean to make it like that. I am a true amature and just happened to snap this shot. Kinda bummed it is blurry....Will keep trying and learning. Thanks
