what a neat composition! a novel topic for this challenge, and the magnifying glass really adds to the photo, as does the smoke effect. nicely done!

i'd probably remove the price tag before shooting the photo...it distracts from the french focus, in my eye. what a great idea for this challenge! like the simple composition, too.

like the quarter in with all the pennies. i think a scrim would help diffuse the lighting and give the coins a more even glow.

cool sky. i almost would crop the image so that only the six trees on the right showed. the remaining ones start getting swallowed up in the natural darkness, to my eye.

the white dashes splitting the image are a bit distracting to my eye. i like the manger feeling that the boards add to the composition.

nice soft shot of the ladybug. the pink background adds a pink cast to the bug, which keeps its colors from really popping, to my eye. the shot is nicely composed, and the background is appropriately girly-feeling for a ladybug. : )

a novel take for this challenge! the lighting seems to be stronger in the back of the photo, and i'd like to see just a touch more lighting on the cards being played.
