Arlington on the Beachby dfriedlandComment by atupdate: I didn't comment on this image during the challenge because I thought it would score much higher and receive a lot of positive feedback. I really like the flow of this image. The only improvement would be to include a bit more of the cross front and center, as the blue flag tends to make this a focal point for this image. |

Pool Playby dfriedlandComment by metoecus: The focus is rather soft and seems to have been centered on the water behind the boy. A faster shutter speed or deeper DOF may have corrected this. The crop above the kid seems a bit too aggressive to me; I'd rather see a bit more headroom. |

Pool Playby dfriedlandComment by garlic: Good capture, like the expresion on the boys face. Same they seems almost totaly in the shadow. Focus dosent seem right on. Think pure b&w would have been better than the sepia toning but maybe thats just my prefence. |
