Thanks all for the thoughtful comments. Haven't submitted an entry in awhile but plan to more often now that I am finally retired and can pursue things I like to do. This picture was taken at rookery in Orlando. It was great watching the birds. They are very use to people and are not that shy which makes them easy targets for the camera.

Beautiful bird shot! The crop seems a bit tight on the exit but just a nit pick. Birds are underrated on DPC (IMO), but so hard to do well. Job well done.
