Unwindby ankit0621Comment: Beautiful!!! I love the framing, the lighting is perfect, and I can't believe the wonder you have achieved with sand! This is NOT an ordinary "Oh look, some sand" shot! This is print-worthy. |

Indian Foodby zenelfComment: I'm having trouble making left or right of this shot. The foreground is way out of focus and the set-up just doesn't seem right. |

Close Upby kimberComment: The DOF is really short and distorts all the nice details outside of it. How can potting mix be so pretty? If you were to redo this shot, I'd suggest removing the pine needle and keeping the chopped-off stalk out of the shot. Well, and a camera that's got a macro with a larger DOF :P |

Bridal beadsby The EskimoComment: Too dazzling/busy. I like all the colours, but it's such a mishmash of shapes and shades to take in. This is one case where a mirrored surface didn't work. |

Salt Of The Earthby naomikComment: I love shots that actually say something to me. That man is holding a precious gift bestowed upon humanity. Well composed and a nice juxtaposition of flesh and salt. The only improvement I can imagine is having the background further away from the DOF. |

Big Men's Playgroundby KatheComment: LOL, where's the ATV's? It's a nice shot, less foreground with a *tad* more sky would have improved the shot. |

Beach Funby user62084Comment: Nice candid! I like the framing, though perhaps a little more of the left side could have been left in. I like that it's a little grainy, almost like a 70's vacation shot (has that Jaws-era feel to it). The people frolicking in the background is a great touch. I can't help but like it, even if granular matter isn't the focus of the shot. |

abstractby apnay_marqadComment: Feathers are granular???? OK, I'm going to disregard the topic of this challenge and say I LOVE IT! I love that there's layers and layers of feathers, and the lighiting is great, just falling on the light yellow feathers and making the rest glow. It really gives the illusion of fireworks. I can't wait to find out the author so I can have it on my desktop! |

Antzby AlainComment: Wow, maybe it's because it's 5am, but it feels almost like I could fall in... Good framing and lighting, definitely original, and I just like it! Gotta hurry up and vote so I don't fall in :P |
