PixySTIXby tfarrell23Comment: Mmmmm, tasty... Another good shot for an advertising challenge. I can't see any minus points, but it's not a "Wow, I want that on my wall" shot. |

grainy tracksby beafliesComment: And the anthropology student thinks nothing other than the Laetoli mudflats... LOL, I like the concept and you've executed it well. All the technical stuff is good, but it's the subject matter that gets me. Look up Laetoli if you're not sure what I just babbled about :P |

Sweet !by chloeclogsComment: Uber strawberry macro!!!! LOL, I like this, the first macro sugar-coated strawberry I've seen. Darn macro DOF is never long enough. But even with that limitation this shot turned out very well! Nice detail to the grains and strawberry seeds, and the green leaves in the background add visual interest without detracting from the foreground. |

Mixed Feelingsby AJFIComment: Interesting! I love the concept, and it's been executed well, but a neutral background would have been better. The bright blue just doesn't mesh with the rest of the colours and textures involved. |

Making Soupby BeingCleverComment: This made me smile! On the technical stuff, you've got it all right. On the creative stuff, Woot! I love the fact that you've taken a different track on the word "grain," whcih few people in this challenge have. |

Elements: air, water, fire, earth !!!!!by ashishkushwahaComment: Now this I would buy a poster-print of! I love that it's off-centre, and the clean white surface is so pure and perfect, only to be marred by fantastic shades of insanity! That pretty-much-perfect circle of white at the centre of the colours is such an anachronism! It just doesn't belong! You are an artist, plain and simple. 10 |

Amongst the Sandby o0oangeo0oComment: Good concept, ok execution. It's a really nice shell, but it would have been showcased much better if the flat surface was completely covered in sand. The basics of lighting/framing/focus are good. |

Treadzby lynnesiteComment: Was your macro on? The DOF in this shot is REALLY short, and the shot would have been so much better if it wasn't. Score points for originality. |

Hail in May?by WobbleComment: Woah, it hailed in May... Definitely neat, like the framing, and the juxtaposition of colour is eyecatching. |

Dust to Dustby fifieldComment: Love that it's off-centre, love the mirrored surface, love the monochrome, love the lighting... I'm swiftly running out of things to rave about! It's simple and stunning! 10!!! |
