Perfect for black and white, and a terrific image. The light is very dramatic. The immense depth of field, and all that it contains, is breathtaking. I'm not bothered by the wing because it's staunchly given as a part of the photo and is becoming in its own right. When I think of America (US), this is what I want to think of.
