Nice shoes. Shooting black objects can be a challenge, as they can end up being non-descript, as in this case. It would probably be better to have at least one shoe in profile, and expose for as much shoe detail (eyelets/laces) as possible. Black strapy sandals would be easier to shoot simply because they start with much more visible detail.

the lighting here is nice till you get to the harsh shadow at the back of the shoes. using a menalla envelope or a white papper or something as a fill card would help reduce the shadow when lighting this way in the future. nice clean composition nice backround woodlook/wood.
