A very well composed, disorienting picture. The cryptic allegory could be confusing to some though. I usually can make sense out of caged Hope blocks topped with giant bed bugs...but then...it must be the jet-lag..

“Do not” signs have many charms, especially when they are facetiously indecipherable like this one. By focusing closer to the subject or by blessing it with the adequate human presence, this well toned picture could surely be improved.
This location would be an excellent setting for an original engagement photo shoot...

A nice surprise. Shallow DOF is used here in a refreshing and unorthodox manner. The fact that the only truly sharp detail in the scene is the word “exit” is a added delicacy.

I like that one. This profile belongs to an old time friend of mine, same beard and nose, he is now a renown astro-physicist. And that’s what he actually does for a living; he closely scrutinizes tarts and other significant galactic pastries.

I recognize that one. Thanks for the tribute. I remember spending agonizing hours on that one to make all parts of this otherwise dull subject stand out on their own. I treated the water, the buoy and the chain each on different layers, then blended them. That was a first. When depicting objects, get as close as possible and concentrate on tone and texture.
