There is something genuinely down and cheerless in this scene. But that's ok. You created an atmosphere.

Good idea for a study on shapes and texture. This lacks a bit of density and texture especially in the water zone.

Enigmatically titled scenery. I do lots of these, even though sunny beaches really depress me in fact. This one is wonderfully bleak and desolate.

Thank you for the tribute
Try this one again on an overcast day, with less high contrasts and more textures to play with.

Surprised at first to see this explosion of color in this otherwise chromatically quiet challenge. Then I noticed it could very well be a tribute to my first ribbon ever. thank you

It is very difficult to get pictures of statues to be engaging, it usually requires the involvement an exterior element to create some interaction; pigeons are usually great at that. One person (imagine a situation) in the scene could save this otherwise nicely composed image.

I like the paradoxical title!
Walking is a slow movement that can be captured at different stages of the stride; some are more flattering or dynamic than others. It takes some practice to remember thinking about it.
Nicely toned and contrasted image.

Good idea to take liberties with the horizon. good find and nice lines.
Check out Garry Winograndís work, a New york street photographer who could not care less about horizontality.
