Very nice. I'd like it even more without ubiqutous selective desaturation, but that's just me...

I know this goes in with your title, but I think it would be a much better image without the car. However, in this case it really is the begining of a story. you have some overexposed spots on her shirt & skirt. I like the composition.

Love this. Title excellent. Image goes well. Composition excellent, colors good. 9 Back just to say, I missread the title as Driving Past Carmen, which I like better. Think that's what you may have meant. Still at least a nine for me.

I like this, and that worries me because I really don't like selective desaturation. So maybe liking it is like catching yourself humming an Abba song; embarrassing. So I tried it in full mono, and the awful truth is that your selective desat really did work. But I will convince myself that you could have achieved the same effect with dodge & burn or some other "legitimate" means. The idea, the composition and the actual photograph are all terrific, but I am determined to dislike the processing. Especially as I am now humming that bloody awful "Mama Mia". BTW, maybe you meant "Driving Past Carmen" but I hope not. 7.

I imagine this is one of those slow-moving "psychological" indie road movies about Carmen as she hitchhikes across the countryside. The strange thing about the picture is that she's standing in the middle of the road, which is a really bad place to hitchhike. Maybe she's overly aggressive about it. She does have an aggressive look on her face. Anything to make the movie more interesting! Good job. (p.s. I think you mean "Driving Past Carmen") (p.p.s. clever name)

Great shot. I love the dramatic mood in this one. That empty road with just one car.

Really striking image. I am not 100% keen on the desat, but do not mind it too much here. Might have been nice to have her whole shadow in frame.
