Truly an amazing scene. It's not too difficult to shoot fireworks so in order to get a ribbon with this challenge, the shot had to be so much more on many levels. Your incorporation with the Northern Lights really is amazing. Compositionwise, it's nearly perfect but it has so much more great stuff I won't even complain about the cut off on the top. And the colors...could there have been a better combination than orange and green? I don't think so.
Thanks for being so dedicated in order to bring us this awesome visual treat.

I never realized how much this looked like a cantalope rind. :)
Your perspective on this one is great.

This is great. I bet you parked in a no parking zone to get it :)
I know the area pretty well and I'll be in SLC again next week.
If I can make one suggestion, you should remove the dust spots - it will look 100% better. Other than that, it's a great saturation of color and I love your ground up perspective.

Oh my gosh what beautiful children. You might want to lighten it a little though and bring out that eye color :)

A gorgeous shot! I wonder if people know that this took 40 years to build. The blocks of granite were hand cut from the Wasatch range above SLC and brought by ox and wagon to the site. Each granite block weighed between 2500 and 5600 pounds. It was begun in 1853 and completed in 1893. Most of the work was done by volunteers.

Great shot.
