Flamencoby saracatComment by CLarson557: Nice colors. Good capture and nicely focused with close attention to texture. Interesting perspective in a challenge full of simular shots. |

Flamencoby saracatComment by dwterry: The images that always suffer from a lack of comments are the ones that are right in the middle ground. Everyone comments on the awesome shots. Some comment on the bad shots. But the middle ones, very few people say anything. So here I am to explain why I voted a 5:
This shot is fine as far as the subject matter goes. I do like the cropping and the angle. The sharpness seems okay (perhaps a tad over sharpened?). I think my main fault with it is the subjet matter itself... I'm sure you and others will disagree so this is probably more a matter of choice. I'm just looking for a little more "pizazz" to set an image apart from the rest.

Flamencoby saracatComment by Xilebo: Looks a little oversharpened and overexposed, would like to see this flower complete.. |

A Peaceful Interludeby saracatComment by Tycho: Composition is a little agressive. That is; instead of drawing to itself, if advances towards the viewer. Not that it's a bad thing. It's just a matter of personal preference/taste. Additionally, the picture is overexposed, therefore the water loses all its texture and instead of appearing to be a silky smooth flow, it turns into a blown out, white blob. I'd try to shoot this scene when the light is diffused and even, e.g. on an overcast day, or when the sun is low enough to provide front lighting (Assuming that the waterfall faces either east or west, and there's nothing around that would block the light). |
